Playing in the penultimate game of his career, Derek Jeter went 1-for-2 with an infield single — his 3,464th hit — as the Yankees’ designated hitter before leaving for a pinch-hitter in the fifth inning of Saturday afternoon’s 10-4 loss to the Red Sox at Fenway. Masahiro Tanaka gave up seven runs (five earned) in just 1 2/3 innings.
