Yanks deny A’s to set up ALDS date with Boston

The Yankees and Red Sox are headed for another postseason clash. New York punched its ticket to the American League Division Series against its longtime rival by denying the A’s in Wednesday night’s AL Wild Card Game, 7-2, on the strength of homers by Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton, and a two-run triple by Luke Voit.
