Wright’s emotional farewell ends with walk-off

Fourteen years after beginning his career amidst soaring expectations, Wright walked off the field on Saturday as perhaps the most popular player to wear the uniform. He walked and popped up in the Mets’ 1-0 win over the Marlins, which Austin Jackson won with a walk-off single in the 13th.
