Wright returns to field on emotional night in NY

Fourteen years after his career began as one of the most highly touted prospects in Mets history, Wright walked off the field Saturday as perhaps the most popular player to wear the uniform. He went 0-for-1 with a walk, hugging each of his teammates upon leaving, red-eyed, for a defensive substitution in the top of the fifth.
