Wright on! After 2 1/2 years, David pinch-hits

David Wright’s two-and-a-half-year absence from the Major Leagues is at an end. Wright will be the first man off the Mets’ bench on Friday, according to manager Mickey Callaway, in what will be the captain’s first big league appearance since May 27, 2016.
