Manager Joe Girardi said that the Yankees will likely make a roster decision regarding injured first baseman Mark Teixeira by Friday. Thursday’s series finale against the Rangers was the fourth consecutive game out of the starting lineup for Teixeira, who has a mild strain of his lower left lat.
