Williams 1-hits Tigers for 7 in Bucs’ shutout

Trevor Williams received a standing ovation from the fans at PNC Park as he walked off the mound after the seventh inning. The applause was well deserved, as Williams held the Tigers to just one hit. John Jaso gave the Pirates some separation in the bottom of the seventh with a two-run long ball that lifted the Pirates to a 3-0 victory over the Tigers on Monday night.
