Wawrinka Powers Into Australian Open Semis

As the stakes get higher, Stan Wawrinka hits his backhand harder. Or so it seemed on Wednesday afternoon as the defending champion powered past Kei Nishikori with a 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(6) victory to reach the Australian Open semi-finals in Melbourne.
