Walk-off single caps A’s ninth-inning rally

In the ninth inning on Saturday against the Astros, the A’s offense awoke from its slumber, scoring three times to win, 4-3, in walk-off fashion. Josh Reddick hit a game-tying two-run double off Chad Qualls, and Jed Lowrie sent Reddick home with a game-winning single.
