Verlander in Game 1 for Astros, Cole in Game 2

Justin Verlander will start Game 1 of the American League Championship Series for the Astros against the Red Sox, with fellow right-hander Gerrit Cole scheduled to start Sunday’s Game 2, the club announced on Wednesday. The ALCS will open at Fenway Park in Boston on Saturday at 8:09 p.m. ET.
