Venezuela’s Caribes de Anzoategui scored six runs in the first two innings, including the game-winning run by San Diego infielder Alexi Amarista, to hold off the Dominican Republic’s Gigantes del Cibao, 6-5, on the third day of games at the Caribbean Series at Hiram Bithorn Stadium.
