Uehara temporarily out as closer
The Red Sox have temporarily lifted Koji Uehara from the closer role and will use Edward Mujica in his place, manager John Farrell said Friday. Uehara isn’t injured, so there’s no reason to shut him down for the rest of the season, Farrell added.
