Trio of Padres could benefit from strong finishes

The Padres will use the final two months to evaluate the performances of players on the roster with an eye toward 2015 — who fits in their plans and where? A lot of this, of course, will be determined by the new general manager, who will be hired this week. But Yonder Alonso, Everth Cabrera and Odrisamer Despaigne are all worth keeping an eye on.
