Trade expected as Donaldson placed on waivers
Fancred’s Jon Heyman reports that Blue Jays placed Josh Donaldson on trade waivers Wednesday, as widely expected, so that they can move the third baseman before Friday, the final day an acquired player can be eligible for a postseason roster.
