Tigers ride 5-run 1st to series win over Angels

The Tigers’ Rally Goose is no longer at Comerica Park after its run-in with a scoreboard Wednesday night, but its momentum carried over into Thursday’s series finale against the Angels. Detroit batted around on left-hander Andrew Heaney in a five-run first inning.
