Tigers erupt in extras to get within a game of Royals

Eugenio Suarez provided the go-ahead two-run single as the Tigers scored seven times in the 11th inning to beat the Indians, 11-4, on Thursday night. Victor Martinez followed with a three-run homer off Indians reliever Josh Tomlin, while Andrew Romine drove in the final two runs with a single off Bryan Price. The Tigers pulled within one game of the first-place Royals in the AL Central with the victory.
