Tigers break out of slump behind Scherzer
The Tigers unloaded the frustration of a four-game losing streak on Hector Noesi in a six-run first inning Wednesday night and coasted to a 7-2 victory over the White Sox at Comerica Park. Max Scherzer worked seven innings to improve to 13-3.
