The wrong Mercedes driver is leading the world championship

Valtteri Bottas should have left Azerbaijan leading the Formula One championship for the first time in his career. Instead, he finds himself 30 points adrift of teammate Lewis Hamilton at a crucial moment in the most important season of his racing career.
