Texas cautious in scratching Tepesch Friday
The Rangers have scratched right-hander Nick Tepesch from Friday’s start against the Athletics as a precaution. Tepesch was needed in relief during Tuesday night’s 2-1 loss in 14 innings, and the club decided not to pitch him on short rest.
