Tejada exits after getting hit in helmet

Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada left Wednesday’s game in the fifth inning after a 94-mph Taijuan Walker fastball struck him in the helmet. There was no immediate word on Tejada’s status, though he walked off the field without assistance.
