Symbolism aside, Molitor right man for Twins’ job

The Twins did this for the right reason. Not because Paul Molitor is the hometown kid. Not because he was once a great player. Those things matter. In this case, they should not distract from the larger story. Molitor is the new manager of the Twins for the best reason of all. Twins general manager Terry Ryan believes Molitor is the best man for the job, and it’s not a bit more complicated than that.
