Strong pipeline has moved Astros’ pieces into place

After years of the Astros touting their Minor League system for being one of the best in baseball, there was ample fruit on the vine this offseason. Multiple trades for prospects and two consecutive seasons of having the No. 1 pick allowed the Astros to switch gears. They’re making trades for the now instead of for the future.
