Stroman shines during first win of the season

Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman held the Tigers to two runs over seven innings and fanned four to earn his first win of the season during Toronto’s victory on Friday night at Rogers Centre. Justin Smoak hit his 10th homer during the Blue Jays’ three-run fourth. Jeimer Candelario went deep for the 12th time this season for Detroit, which dropped its 10th consecutive game.
