Yankees designated hitter Giancarlo Stanton reached his latest career milestone on Thursday night, drilling his 300th home run in the third inning against the Tigers. Stanton’s drive — a two-out, two-run drive to right-center field off veteran lefty Francisco Liriano that put New York ahead, 2-1 — was the slugger’s 33rd homer this season.
