Sources: Wilcox flips on 49ers, plans Jets deal

Free-agent safety J.J. Wilcox was in the 49ers’ offices to sign Tuesday and then he “flipped,” one source told ESPN, and decided he wanted to play for Jets coach Todd Bowles. “He got stage fright,” another source told ESPN.
