Source: Lester agrees to deal with Cubs
Jon Lester reportedly picked the Cubs over his former team, the Red Sox, and signed a six-year, $155 million contract, the largest in franchise history. The Cubs would not confirm, but a source told MLB.com’s Ian Browne on Tuesday night that the deal was done.
