Snell K’s 9 Red Sox as Rays win 7th straight

The Rays couldn’t have stumbled more inelegantly out of the starting blocks this season. Skipper Kevin Cash’s team lost eight of its first nine, including five one-run losses at the hands of the division-rival Red Sox. But the Rays have gotten back up and are coming on at full sprint. Yet another terrific start from Blake Snell propelled Tampa Bay to a 4-3 win over the Red Sox at Fenway Park, the team’s seventh straight win, its longest winning streak since 2014.
