Smith Jr. denies being paid to play for NC State
Dennis Smith Jr., the ACC freshman of the year in 2016-17, told NC State officials that he didn’t know former Adidas consultant T.J. Gassnola and that neither he nor his family were paid by anybody to play for the Wolfpack.
