Shoemaker to miss start with oblique strain
Angels right-hander Matt Shoemaker left in the eighth inning of Monday’s win with left side discomfort, which an MRI on Tuesday deemed a mild strain. The 27-year-old rookie said he was feeling better, with some lingering soreness that was “to be expected.”
