Shoemaker set for MRI after mild side pain
Angels right-hander Matt Shoemaker was forced to exit deep into his start on Monday night with what he deemed “a little side discomfort” on the left side of his rib cage, an ailment the rookie said he’s “not really” concerned about. Nonetheless, he’ll have an MRI on Tuesday.
