Shaw’s slam, 6-run 1st send Crew past Rox
Freddy Peralta recorded a quality start and the bats scored six runs in the first inning to clinch the weekend series for Milwaukee. After some command issues in the opening frame, Peralta settled down to strike out eight and allow two runs over six innings. Travis Shaw hit a grand slam and Hernan Perez followed with a homer against Tyler Anderson in the six-run first. Ryan Braun also went deep for the Crew. Trevor Story hit a pair of two-run homers for Colorado.
