Shaw (calf) placed on DL; Almonte recalled
The Rockies placed struggling righty reliever Bryan Shaw on the 10-day disabled list with a right calf strain on Sunday, a day after he gave up a grand slam to the Marlins’ J.T. Realmuto in a 6-2 loss. The Rockies recalled rookie righty Yency Almonte from Triple-A Albuquerque.
