Scooter’s 2nd HR walks off Reds in 12th
CINCINNATI — Scooter Gennett made a defensive gaffe in the top of the ninth that forced extra innings vs. the Braves on Tuesday. But Gennett made up for it by delivering a two-run homer in the bottom of the 12th for a 9-7 walkoff victory. Against lefty Max Fried, Joey Votto drew a leadoff walk to begin the 12th. That set it up for Gennett, who drove a 1-2 pitch into the right field seats for his second long ball and the game winner. It was the third multi-homer game of his career.
