Schoop, Cruz help O’s extend AL East lead

A day after energizing Oriole Park at Camden Yards with five homers and nine runs, it took six innings — and almost three hours — to bring the crowd of 16,406 to life on Tuesday. With runners on first and second in the bottom of the sixth, rookie Jonathan Schoop laced a single to left field. Chris Davis raced home from second and the O’s had the decisive run in a 4-2 win against the Rays.
