Samardzija goes on DL with stiff shoulder
Giants starter Jeff Samardzija exited Tuesday’s game vs. the Rockies with right shoulder tightness. Samardzija allowed two runs on three hits and a strikeout, but didn’t return for the second inning. He was placed on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday.
