Royals tab Vargas for ALCS Game 4

Royals manager Ned Yost announced prior to Tuesday’s American League Championship Series Game 3 that left-hander Jason Vargas will start Wednesday’s Game 4 against the Orioles, airing at 4 p.m. ET on TBS. Vargas, who signed with the Royals before this year, went 11-10 with a 3.71 ERA in 30 starts with Kansas City in the first season of his four-year deal.
