Royals option Crow; move likely temporary

The Royals optioned right-handed reliever Aaron Crow to Double-A Northwest Arkansas to make roster space for Wednesday night’s starting pitcher, Liam Hendriks. The move was one of convenience, with Crow sent down because he has a Minor League option remaining. He could return on Monday, after Northwest Arkansas’ season ends.
