Rodney relishes 40th save, now seeks 50
Fernando Rodney became just the third Mariners closer to record 40 saves in a season when he finished out Tuesday’s 6-5 victory over the A’s, and he is five shy of the club record set by Kazuhiro Sasaki in 2001.
