Road weary Royals glad to make trip to ALDS

Playing in a Wild Card Game does not lend itself to easy travel for a team fortunate enough to win and advance to the next round. The Royals found themselves in that position with extra factors involved that resulted in arriving at their Southern California hotel at 6:30 a.m. PT on Wednesday, just a few hours before for a 1 p.m. workout.
