Returning from DL on Tuesday, Anibal to pitch in relief

Anibal Sanchez will return from the disabled list Tuesday. He will not be returning to the Tigers’ rotation. With the right-hander feeling OK following his 45-pitch simulated game Sunday, the Tigers are going ahead with plans to add him to their bullpen for the stretch run and postseason. He will not make a start this week.
