Report: Bucs ink Melky to Minor League deal

The Pirates have signed free-agent outfielder Melky Cabrera to a Minor League deal with an invite to the team’s Major League Spring Training camp, according to a report by MLB Network insider Ken Rosenthal and The Athletic’s Rob Biertempfel. Fellow MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reported that the deal, which the club has not confirmed, is worth up to $2 million in incentives.
