Renteria: ‘Difficult’ for Starlin to return this season

Cubs shortstop Starlin Castro continues to rehab his left ankle, injured Sept. 2 in an awkward slide at home plate, but his season is likely over, manager Rick Renteria said Tuesday. Castro was hoping to play before the regular season ends Sunday, but he is still wearing a protective boot on his left ankle.
