Reds ride Cueto, defense to shutout, series win

Johnny Cueto’s eight strong frames led the Reds’ shutout, and with the 1-0 victory on Thursday, Cincinnati took its first series from St. Louis in five tries this season, and just its second in the last 13 series against the Cardinals overall.
