Red Sox recall Ranaudo, replacing Escobar

The Boston Red Sox today recalled right-handed pitcher Anthony Ranaudo from Triple-A Pawtucket. He fills the roster spot of left-handed pitcher Edwin Escobar, who was optioned to Pawtucket yesterday.
