Red Sox land Panda and Hanley, pending physicals

The Red Sox have made a pair of impact free-agent deals that should bolster their offense in 2015 and beyond. Both Hanley Ramirez and Pablo Sandoval have agreed to join the Red Sox, who are hopeful of holding a news conference for Ramirez today, according to a source. Both deals are pending physicals.
