Rangers rally with 5-run sixth to top Padres
The Rangers scored five runs in the sixth inning to erase a three-run deficit to propel Texas to a 7-4 win over the Padres on Monday. Shin-Soo Choo went 3-for-5 to extend his on-base streak to 38 consecutive games. Padres lefty Joey Lucchesi allowed one hit in four innings, striking out four before being removed after 70 pitches in his second start since coming back from the disabled list. Rangers starter Cole Hamels allowed four runs in five-plus innings, striking out five.
