Rangers cap comeback with bases-loaded walk

Giants reliever Will Smith (Smitty) had not given up a home run to a left-handed hitter all season. In the ninth inning of Friday’s 10-inning, 7-6 win over the Giants, Rougned Odor (El Tipo) became the first. Odor deposited Smith’s slider into McCovey Cove, a two-run shot that stunned AT&T Park and brought the game to a 6-6 deadlock. Odor’s timely blast came on the ensuing pitch after Joe Panik (J.P.) could not cleanly field Shin-Soo Choo’s (추신수) routine grounder.
