Power on display early in Game 1 of O’s-Tigers ALDS

Game 1 of the American League Division Series on Thursday night blasted off with three early homers that left the score knotted at 2 after two innings. Baltimore slugger Nelson Cruz belted a two-run shot off Detroit starter Max Scherzer in the first, then in the second, Tigers designated hitter Victor Martinez and left fielder J.D. Martinez hit back-to-back homers off O’s starter Chris Tillman to tie the game.
