Phils trade Kendrick to Nats for lefty prospect

The Phillies traded veteran infielder/outfielder Howie Kendrick and cash to the Nationals for Minor League left-hander McKenzie Mills and international amateur signing bonus pool space, the club announced Friday night. Mills was the Nats’ 18th-ranked prospect per MLBPipeline.com.
