Phils edge Nats on Hernandez’s gem, Byrd’s blast

Behind eight innings of one-run ball from Roberto Hernandez and a go-ahead solo home run from Marlon Byrd in the sixth, the Phillies defeated the Nationals, 2-1, on Friday night at Nationals Park.
